Excellent service with honesty: I have not experienced this great service that often in the automotive industry. Most of the mechanics I have come across over the past 25 yrs on both coasts are indifferent at best to your predicaments and cheats at worst. The factory dealers are no better, unfortunately. Try calling Mercedes or BMW dealers in the Leesburg vicinity to get your car worked on the same day or the next day.
Well, my BMW X5 had a dead battery during this Christmas period and with all the holiday shopping I yet had to do, I was panicking. I had AAA come in and jumpstart, but I do know that the battery needs replaced ASAP. I was afraid that once I stopped the car, it may not start again.
I called Sterling BMW and was shocked to hear that I would not be able to get in untl January 16 -- just to get battery replaced. They were totally insensitive -- I was not asking for transmission replacement, for Christ's sake.
Then I called Sears, and was told that they do not carry this particular battery. I was getting desperate and started to look on the internet. I was so fortunate to have found this business. When I called, the gentleman (Oleg) was prompt (not put on hold), curteous, and understanding. He immediately confirmed that he had the battery and that he would be able to replace right away.
When I went there, he was just as courteous in person. He immediately figuered out where the battery was hidden (yes, I mean it was hidden, under the spare tire) and worked on it right away. I was out of there in under 30 minutes, that is despite he was the only person on duty that day. And his charge for replacing the battery was highly reasonable, let us just say, much less than what I would have paid at sears and way less than at the dealer (if I could get in in the first place).
I have written this lengthy note because I feel he desrves the praise. I just wish he does work on other aspects of automobiles, not just batteries. Then my woes with auto mechanics would have been over forever.
Oleg, thanks for saving my holidays. Keep up the great work and customer service. You will be rewarded with more customers.
